Higher Power Automotive and Diagnostics

After many years of working for the big names in the automotive repair industry, I found myself becoming disillusioned with the industry in the way in which it began treating the customer. In April 2017, I decided to make a dream of mine come true and I opened Higher Power Automotive and Diagnostics in West Fargo, North Dakota with my father in law. It became our mission to bring back affordability to the automotive repair industry. We started off in a little 1000 square foot building working off our backs with no lifts and although there was a few hiccups along the way we were making it. In January 2018, we moved to a 3000 square foot building and added one lift for the bigger jobs to get off our backs and we doubled our business. In March 2018, I was dealt a devastating blow. My mother had a heart attack while driving and passed away. I wasn’t sure if i was going to continue with the business due a deep depression I was going through. Then a good friend of mine came to me with a business proposition. His father had a massive heart attack himself a few months ago and the doctors wanted him to start taking it easier. So I went to a meeting with one of the owners of Kevin’s Car Care in Moorhead to see about working out a deal in which Higher Power Automotive and Diagnostics would join forces with Kevin’s to help Kevin take more time for himself. On April 9, 2018, Higher Power officially took over Kevin’s Car Care. We are looking forward to bringing our small home town values to the area and continuing to build our business for many years to come.
